Men working in the fields of San CristobalI have collected 48 individual interviews, and 60 questionnaires. I have done 3 focus groups. These data has been collected in the following veredas (rural divisions) of San Cristobal: Travesias, El Llano, El Yolombo, San Jose de la Montana, La Palma, Las Playas, and El Patio. I have had meetings with different community groups to introduce the project in the community such as Community Action Groups, and Association of agricultural Campesinos of Boqueron (Asociacion de Campesinos Agricultores de Boqueron, ACAB). The experience has been very interesting and the problem of pesticide use in this areas is very serious. There is a lot of work to do in the area of public health!
