MPH Student Receives Scholarship from Florida Public Health Association

Jennifer LeLaurin, an MPH Student in the Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) Track, was recently awarded a graduate student scholarship from the Florida Public Health Association (FPHA). Jennifer was also recently awarded the the Sam and Connie Holloway Endowed Scholarship in Spring 2012 for demonstrating exemplary leadership and academic excellence.

Jennifer is an outstanding student who juggles several additional responsibilities such as being an Intern at Tobacco Free Alachua and a Teaching Assistant for the College of Public Health and Health Professions. In addition, Jennifer also serves as the Vice-President for Health Education for Research Outreach Empowerment and Service (HEROES), a UF student organization promoting health-related volunteerism and a Steward for Graduate Assistants United.
