PHHP Student Mixer and Grant Competition
The College of Public Health and Health Professions Collaboration Committee recently hosted the Inaugural PHHP Collaboration Mixer, an event to promote research collaboration with between graduate students in public health and health professions.
Graduate students participated in 5 minute “speed dating” rounds in which research interests and project proposals were discussed. Guests enjoyed live music, delicious food and participated in a raffle for an iPod shuffle.
Eric Soule, a doctoral student in the BSCH Department commented, “I think the night was a big hit! Great food, great music, and a great opportunity to meet potential collaborators from other health disciplines.”
