Doctoral Student Featured as SOPHE 30 under 30
BSCH doctoral student Jessie King was selected as one of SOPHE’s 30 under 30 as part of National Health Education Week. The Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) was founded in 1950 and strives to provide global leadership to the profession of health education and health promotion and to promote the health of society. Ms. King has a background in health education and has continued to utilize her training and experience while studying under the mentorship of Dr. Jamie Pomeranz. The award highlights her contribution to the field of health education as well as her future plans to shape the field. Ms. King was featured on SOPHE social media the week of October 22.
