Dr. Mark Hart
Dr. Mark Hart is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Epidemiology and also serves as the Director of Online Learning for the College of Public Health & Health Professions and MPH Coordinator for Social and Behavioral Sciences. Mark received his doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction (Educational Technology) from the University of Florida, and his dissertation was entitled: Social Media and Public Health: Perspectives on Implementing a Social Media Presence for a Public Health Organization. Previously, Dr. Hart also worked as the Director for the Rural South Public Health Training Center which focused on educating public health workers working in medically-underserved areas specific to HIV/AIDS.

Mr. Meneskie has 22 years of geriatric care management experience in sub-acute rehabilitation facilities, long-term care facilities, and professional private practice. Mr. Meneskie currently navigates across all types of elder living environments including private homes, assisted living facilities, adult family care facilities, subsidized housing, and nursing homes. He assists with and recommends alternative placement options when the current environment becomes unsuitable for the overall well-being of the elder client. He is an active member of the Florida Geriatric Care Managers Association and the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners, and The National Academy of Certified Care Managers. Mr. Meneskie received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from Kennesaw State University and the Master of Health Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Florida. He is a Certified Care Manager, Certified Dementia Practitioner, and Certified Geriatric Care Manager. Mr. Meneskie is the founder and owner of Aging Resources and Care Management, a community-based, private consultant management service.
Laura J. Perry
Laura J. Perry, Ph.D, is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a Certified Life Care Planner, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (FL). Since beginning her rehabilitation counseling practice in 1987, she has specialized in helping individuals and families navigate issues related to behavioral health, aging, disability, and long-term care planning. In addition to teaching with this program and maintaining a small private practice in care management consultation, Dr. Perry also provides behavioral health counseling services in UF Health’s Family Medicine Clinic at Main. Dr. Perry’s professional academic background includes a number of years spent as an active faculty member in the College, teaching in both the graduate rehabilitation counseling program and the undergraduate rehabilitative services program. Dr. Perry is a member of the American Counseling Association/American Rehabilitation Counseling Association, the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, and the International Academy of Life Care Planners. She is also a member of the Florida Society for Clinical Hypnosis. Dr. Perry is a proud three-degree Gator, having received her BA, MHS, and PhD all from UF.
